Description
One of the Sansibars, the Sanduko or Baw-og (term for belly) is a type of Visayan blade whose design shows influences of the Persian Scimatar. The blade’s martial functions are for largo, cut, and thrust. The Panay Tenegre is a blade that originates from Panay Island in the Visayan region of the Central Philippines. With its wide belly and downward pitch to the angle of the blade, this functional weapon is quick to draw and easy to maneuver.
